Bo-rum's love of music began at the age of six, where her passion for piano carried her to complete a Bachelor of Music from the University of Alberta and Master of Music from McGill University in Piano Performance. Throughout her studies, her talents were well recognized and she received numerous scholarships, awards, and invitations for performances and festivals. Bo-rum's deep appreciation of music brought a desire to pass on and inspire future generations, which led her to obtain an additional Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary.

With piano teaching experience that spans a wide range of ages and skill levels, Bo-rum's central goal is to enrich her students' lives by fostering an appreciation, enjoyment, and understanding of the arts. Her passion for music education also extends into her full-time position as a middle school band teacher, where she is known for bringing a positive attitude, sense of humour, and student-centered approach. Bo-rum finds deep fulfillment in connecting with her students through the medium of music!

In her spare time, Bo-rum enjoys rock climbing, thrifting, reading, and hiking or camping in the mountains.
