Chloe started playing piano at the age of 5, and completed the RCM level 10 exam in 2018. After this exam, she continued to play the piano, including ARCT Diploma level pieces, band music, and soundtracks. Chloe also started playing cello at the age of 8. Chloe plays with the Rocky Mountains Symphony Orchestra, where she gets to explore a variety of genres and learn from fellow musicians. Being part of the Orchestra provides so many opportunities to learn from colleagues.
Chloe believes that teaching children is not simply about teaching skills but also guiding them to be responsible individuals. She believes that through lessons, students can learn about themselves, and also explore likes and dislikes. Chloe teaches her students to express themselves through music, and helps them to discover over time how music can help with managing stress and feelings.
Chloe is currently completing a Bachelor of Science degree (with a double major in chemistry and astrophysics), and she is also passionate and dedicated to taking courses in linguistics, anthropology, and art history. When not playing piano or cello, she spends most of her time watching hockey, looking up orchestral scores, talking to her friends, and riding a bike.
