Declan McGarry

Declan is incredibly fortunate to come from a family with an infectious love of music. From his time spent learning the basics of the piano at a young age, to his many hours of guitar practice, Declan is passionate and excited to share his knowledge about contemporary guitar with his students.

After moving to Calgary in 2023 Declan has continued to write and perform music, releasing an EP with his band in 2024. He is currently working on achieving his level 8 Canadian Conservatory contemporary guitar certification, and works with beginner and intermediate guitar students. 

In his spare time, Declan enjoys skiing, running, and hiking.
