Education and Background in Music:
Kate completed her musical studies with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), and achieved the Level 10 RCM comprehensive certificate. She has been playing piano since age of 7.  She has also explored other instruments such as drums, trumpet, ukulele, voice, and electric guitar.

Teaching Philosophy:
Kate says: "I believe that learning music should be a fun and rewarding experience. My approach is all about creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel excited to explore their musical interests. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to fit each student’s unique style and pace. While I emphasize the importance of practice and dedication, I also make sure that our time together is enjoyable and inspiring. My goal is to help students develop their skills and confidence, and to share my own love for music in a way that sparks their own passion."

Additional Information:
Outside of music, she enjoys snowboarding in the winter and drawing on her iPad. Her favourite food is cheesecake!
