Kathy Mok, B. M. Ed
​​Piano

Kathy is a music lover and an RCM Certified Piano Teacher with over 20 years of teaching experiences in RCM examination and interest-based curriculum. She grew up in a musical family in Hong Kong, and loves to experiment with different genres of music since she started her piano journey at 5 years old. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree – Elementary Education from the University of Calgary, and offers lessons in both English and Cantonese. 

Kathy is adaptive and passionate in cultivating musical enjoyment and appreciation in students. She also offers songwriting and introductory voice lessons to piano students who want to expand their musical skills.

In her spare time, she is a collaborative pianist working with soloists, ensembles or bands. She enjoys arranging music with her own “Popssical” style – a blend of classical and pop music, and organizing performances/stage productions for local community events.
