Kristin found a love of music very early on. She started learning piano at the age of four, and a few years later when she was eight, Kristin began learning the cello. She quickly fell in love with the rich, deep tones of the cello and after only a year she began playing in a string orchestra. Orchestra presented its own challenges, but it was here that Kristin found the value and importance of counting and timing! Kristin’s childhood was full of music as she had piano, cello, and theory lessons as well as orchestra every week.
In 2017 Kristin achieved her Grade 8 piano with RCM as well as her Advanced Theory where she was awarded First Class Honours. The following year in 2018 she completed her Grade 7 cello.
Kristin started teaching piano in 2017 and found a passion for it. She looks forward to inspiring her students and showing each one how wonderful music is.
