Lexi has been passionate about music her whole life, and started piano lessons at the age of 8. Despite discovering RCM later in her piano career, she quickly completed her Level 8 comprehensive certificate (practical & theory) in 2023, and decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a piano teacher.
She has a deep passion for piano and leading people to success. In 2023, she attended a Leadership & Management College Program in Winnipeg, where she volunteered in the music ministry advancing her vocal skills, teaching ability, and playing in front of crowds. Performing can be intimidating, and Lexi likes to work on resilience with her students. Her recent performance experience allows her to relate to any worries students may have about performing. Music is one of the most important things in Lexi’s life. She believes music has the ability to heal, and says far more than words can at times. Her favourite memories of piano growing up were the lessons filled with joy and excitement, therefore she is committed to bringing all of her students a fun and educational lesson.
Outside of teaching piano you can find Lexi attending concerts, reading, skiing or snowboarding on the slopes, and spending time with friends. She is also currently expanding her abilities in the areas of chording and ear training.
