Malcolm Liew, RCM 10
​​​Piano

Malcolm has been playing piano since he was 5 years old. He has since been growing in his love for piano, and branching out to different instruments as well such as the viola, percussion, and vocals. Malcolm has a passion for learning and playing music, and enjoys sharing that passion with others. 

Malcolm received his RCM Level 8 certificate at the age of 12, and also then completed the RCM Level 10 practical exam. He has competed in multiple piano competitions, earning several Red certificates. He also performs for senior homes as a solo performer and with band groups, and enjoys playing and listening to musicals, worship, pop, and Disney music. 

He is currently studying engineering at the University of Calgary, and flies planes as a licensed pilot. Malcolm is always ready to take on new challenges and find creative ways to solve problems, and is also experienced in mentoring youth and children through air cadets and his church community.
