RCM Level 9 Harmony
Advanced Theory Group Classes
The RCM Level 9 Harmony course is a corequisite for receiving the Royal Conservatory of Music Level 9 Comprehensive Piano Certificate. Students have 5 years from the time of their practical examination to complete their theory corequisites. Level 9 History can be completed as an online course/exam through the Royal Conservatory of Music website.

Piano Expressions will be running a Level 9 Harmony course on Wednesday afternoons 4:30-5:30pm MT with Liz Rabbit, BMus. The class will be limited to 6 students. Students will scan their work in to the teacher between lessons to get a marked copy back in advance of the next lesson.
This small group will help students gain a foundation in harmony, and is equivalent to a first-year university harmony course. There are 28 lessons from September 25th, 2024 to May 7th, 2025 with the Level 9 Harmony exams taking place at your local exam centre (North America offerings) on May 9th/10th, 2024. Monthly tuition from September to May is $175/month with 2 students in the class (tuition will go down to $160/month with more registrations). Registrations will be accepted through the month of September. |
