Alexander has been studying music for 15 years and is currently studying for the RCM Level 10 practical exam for June 2023. As a working Jazz musician, Alexander studies at the University of Calgary in the Bachelor of Music program in the Jazz track and the Bachelor of Arts program in philosophy.
As a lover of music in all forms (especially Jazz and Classical), Alexander is dedicated to nurturing the musical mind of all students at any stage and interest level. He strives to develop his philosophy of musical teaching as well as improve as an instructor and performer.
Alexander is patient, kind and open to all ways that lead his students to the love of music and to the playing they aspire to.
