Christopher Reil has been studying piano for 19 years and has been teaching since 2016. He has completed his Grade 10 RCM piano exam (practical). He has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from Brigham Young University (completion summer 2023) with special emphases in piano (participating in competitions and solo recitals) and advanced music theory.
Christopher has taught all ages and all levels from beginner to advanced. He believes in using music as a tool for children and adults to direct their mental energy and to discover for themselves the joys and beauties of the worlds of music. Christopher is also a serious cellist, participating in solo recitals, chamber groups, and prestigious student orchestras. He believes that studying cello and composition can complement his studies in piano and help him develop rounded and multi-faceted perspectives and musical experiences that he can pass down to students.
