Maria Mansi, RCM 8

Maria began taking piano lessons at the age of 4, and since then has grown to love music as a creative outlet. She has completed grade 8 piano and theory through the RCM, and received her diploma with First Class Honours. Over the years, Maria has also participated in numerous performances and competitions.

Most recently she has loved learning music from movie scores and is beginning to work on composition. She believes in making music a fun experience, and encourages students to draw from a variety of different music genres to express themselves and build a repertoire that they are excited to share! Maria is very passionate about working with children of all ages and abilities, and has had the opportunity to do so through a variety of volunteer jobs. She is now pursuing her degree in computer science at the University of Calgary.

​When she is not playing piano or studying, Maria trains for martial arts and loves to spend time with her family and friends. She looks forward to meeting many incredible students, and hopes to help them love piano as much as she does! ​​​
