As a life-long musician, Riley has always had a passion for music. She began playing piano at the young age of 2 and has been playing ever since. She began Royal Conservatory of Music exams in 2014 and achieved a Level 8 comprehensive certificate (practical and theory) in 2017. 

In addition to playing the piano, Riley is a multi-instrumentalist and has enjoyed playing instruments such as the guitar, the bass, and the French horn in orchestras and bands over the years. She is also a singer-songwriter and frequently performs in Calgary and surrounding areas with her band. She credits her musical success to the piano lessons she took from a young age.

Since making the jump to pursue her life-long dream of playing music, she has found joy in sharing her experience and knowledge with others. Performing can be intimidating - but having gone from being a shy performer to playing for hundreds of listeners herself, she loves showing students that they too can accomplish their wildest dreams.  She truly believes in the power of music and loves getting to show students how wonderful it can be.
