Trishana loves all things creative - piano, music, dance, etc. She has been playing the piano from the age of 5, following the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) standards and levels. She spent over a decade as a competitive dancer, and dabbled in instruments like the french horn, violin, and the euphonium. She has finished her Grade 10 RCM Practical Examination and is working on the ARCT syllabus in her own time. Also, she attended the Fine Arts Program at Unionville High School in Ontario before moving to Calgary. The intense, fast-paced environment fostered a never-ending love for piano and music as a whole. Now, she attends the University of British Columbia for a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urbanism. Whether through music, dance, or design, she shows her love for all by sharing her knowledge and advice for those who are seeking to learn.
Trishana loves working with students in all environments, as she divides her time between the piano studio and dance studio. Her favourite times of the year are recitals as this is the time her students can showcase their dedication through performance. All the students that she has worked with made her 4 years with Calgary Piano Expressions so much brighter and she is so excited to continue meeting new students to share her love for piano with. She loves working with students that are passionate about learning and interested in music as an outlet for expression!
